it's paper project LA 06 week and boy am i excited
today i was at the storefront to see all the kookiness, thurs i was at the silverlake party, unfortch i was not in any of the picts, cobrasnake was not in attendence (suprised), and tomoz i'll check out the cattlecall aka "inspiration outreach" @ the storefront to see what's happening in photog/graphic peoples
my goal: get in paper cuz i look so scene
...geez, i should really vamp my outfits to get xtra scene pts [worst sentence i've ever written]
yeah, well, this week was interesting, but i'm more looking forward to next week's rapture and hot chip SD weekend
plus molly gets her jacket i've been working on this week... it's a bit viv westwood, which means it's a bit rad

whether or not my parents (read, my mum), approve of my career choices, it can now be said that my nan does.
she now sends me bi-weekly clippings out of our local paper about fashion. she hopes that it gives me insight into designing, etc.
i don't have the heart to tell her that everything she sends me, i've already known for at least a season.
still, love that woman.

electric six put on a good set, musically, stage presence was lacking a bit
every move a picture was great, frat guys weren't feeling it [idiots]
rock kills kid was even bestest, never seen them before, just heard some good things and errvrything i heard was true

complaint #1: an entire frat house coming to the show to get drunk, call me a fag and not accept my danse-fight challange
complaint #2: frat guys pushing me out of the way, me being all wtf, 1 guy getting drunk and irate and trying to start a fight w/ me, me challenging him to a danse fight (dansing all rad, a la you got served and declaring a winner) and him not accepting
complaint #D: test icicles breaking up w/o playing our show (i know it has nothing to do w/ last night, but still, it's a complaint)

went to the zoo today, and after errvry animal yelled "______ WATCH!"
i'll give you an example, there's the obligitory "PANDA WATCH!"
but then there was the lesser used "GIANT TORTOISE WATCH!" or "LITTLE KANGAROO-THING WATCH!"
needless to say my parents were none too enthused about this disruptive behaviour
